Cherry is one of the most desirable wood species because of its rich elegant red tones. It is moderately hard and one of the most stable North American hardwood species. Cherry is very easy to sand and accepts all types of finishes very well. When exposed to sun light, the red heartwood takes on a deep, rich Mahogany shade revealing the natural characteristic of the American black Cherry.
